Uniroyal Tire Announces National Grand Prize Winner of Soccer Sweepstakes GREENVILLE, S.C. – (Mar. 5, 2007) – The Uniroyal “Win a Free Soccer Season” contest came to a close when a lucky Columbia, S.C. resident won the grand prize. For Delores Saini and her four children, this year’s soccer season will be a free ride. As the recently selected grand prize winner of Uniroyal Tire’s 2006 “Win a Free Soccer Season Sweepstakes,” Saini was awarded a free set of Uniroyal tires and free automotive services from local tire dealer Pope-Davis Tire & Alignment as well as other prizes to offset soccer expenses. In addition, her oldest daughter’s school soccer program recently received a $1,000 donation from Uniroyal. “We are so excited about winning!” said Saini. “It’s very important to us that our children stay active in positive activities such as soccer and it’s great to know that there are companies out there like Uniroyal that support the things that matter to our family. We’re very thankful for this prize.” The “Win a Free Soccer Season” sweepstakes kicked off this past summer, with thousands of soccer parents, including Saini, logging online to http://www.uniroyal.com to enter. In addition to the grand prize, a total of four first prize winners were selected between August and November 2006. First prize winners received $650 worth of gas for their 2007 season commutes to and from the soccer field. For Saini and her family, the grand prize rewards were substantial. Saini has received a $100 gift card to cover the costs of league registrations, $650 to cover gasoline expenses for four months, a set of Uniroyal tires, and $150 worth of service expenses at her local Uniroyal dealer, Pope-Davis Tire & Alignment. Also benefiting from Saini’s win is her oldest daughter’s soccer team at Summit Parkway Middle School.
